As a part of the Law Tech 2023 Conference hosted at the Belmont University College of Law on March 10, Nelson Mullins of counsel attorney Mallory Acheson was a speaker for a session titled "Technology Enhanced Strategy." During her session at the event, Acheson spoke on the accelerated adoption and development of technology that presents attorneys and corporations with new and evolving opportunities and legal landscapes to navigate. Acheson also discussed how technology is disrupting the legal industry, including technology-based approaches to assist lawyers with litigation strategy, privacy compliance, corporate governance, and discovery challenges.
Based in Nashville, Acheson's practice includes privacy and security compliance, technology transactions, and the intersection of data and electronic discovery issues. She helps clients navigate domestic and internal privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, TCPA, HIPAA, and GLBA.
