Mallory Acheson Earns CIPP/E Credentials from International Association of Privacy Professionals

NASHVILLE — Nashville of counsel and Encompass member Mallory Acheson has earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). This distinction further defines Acheson’s legal practice and serves to advance her competitive edge in the data privacy landscape worldwide. 

The CIPP/E certification has a concentration on foreign and domestic data protection laws. Those that earn this certification have demonstrated their understanding of the specific terminology and concepts that deal with data privacy, pan-European data protection, the laws that govern and regulate data privacy in cross-border jurisdictions, and more according to the IAPP.

Mallory focuses her practice on privacy and security compliance, technology transactions, and the intersection of data and electronic discovery issues. Mallory helps clients navigate domestic and internal privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, TCPA, HIPAA, and GLBA.

The IAPP is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2000 aiming to educate and further develop skills in those practicing in the privacy profession around the world.
