Several Nelson Mullins Encompass members have recently earned certifications by prominent electronic discovery companies to even better enable them to do top-notch work for the firm’s clients.
Discovery Counsel and Project Manager Chris Borns, Discovery Operations Manager Luke Fox, Project Manager Sumee Oh, Project Manager Frank Laudadio, Discovery Counsel and Project Manager Ronetra Robinson, Project Manager Eva Wood, and Project Manager Soren Young all earned certification as a Relativity Certified User (RCU). This program provides certification of user knowledge of the Relativity’s core features. Relativity is an electronic discovery software company that gives corporations, governments, and law firms tools to manage litigation, investigations, and Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests.
Discovery Analytics Specialist Jonathan Alef and Discovery Counsel and Project Manager West Lee also achieved the Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) accreditation. Earning this status demonstrates knowledge of all aspects of case administration in Relativity from ingestion settings to final document review and production.
Discovery Analytics Specialist Jill Ragan and Senior EnCAP Analyst Jessica Byrd both received the Relativity Processing Specialist (RPS) certification. Earning this status recognizes individuals who have extensive experience processing data in Relativity. Gaining this certification shows the ability to successfully process data into Relativity and knowledge of advanced workflows and best practices.
Discovery Counsel and Project Manager Rick McGee recently earned Relativity Analytics Specialist (RAS) certification. This status recognizes individuals who have extensive experience with analytics in Relativity. Individuals with this certification demonstrate the ability to successfully run a case with Analytics – from creating indexes to managing an active learning project. Rick McGee, along with Jonathan Alef, also earned Relativity Expert certifications for being a Relativity Certified Administrator that earned two other specialist certifications.
Additionally, EnCAP Analyst Augusta Thompson earned QuickBase Expert App Builder Certification. QuickBase is a low-code database and application development platform used by Encompass and thousands of other companies. Thompson also earned her Data Discovery Core Certification for Nuix Workstation. This one-day certification training course teaches users foundational knowledge including creating cases, data processing, searching and reviewing in Nuix Workstation.
