Nelson Mullins partner Julie Flaming, a member of the Encompass e-discovery team, spoke at the Nashville Chapter Meeting of Women in eDiscovery on Thursday, October 19, 2017. The continuing legal education luncheon included members of the Tennessee Bar and was held at a law firm in downtown Nashville. The topic on which Flaming spoke was “E-Discovery Considerations in Government Investigations.”
Women in eDiscovery is a nonprofit organization focused on providing women with legal technology education, networking, and leadership opportunities. Women in eDiscovery launched in 2007 and now has 28 chapters. Each chapter hosts monthly or quarterly meetings for its members. Members are comprised of professionals within the legal industry including law firm and corporate legal attorneys, litigation support professionals, paralegals, legal IT staff, consultants, and vendors.
