Nelson Mullins Encompass delivered around 100 coats to the Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc. (MIRCI) on Wednesday. Coat drives took place in the Columbia and Nashville discovery review centers and the Nelson Mullins offices in Columbia and Charlotte.
MIRCI is a Columbia, S.C. nonprofit that assists homeless and displaced individuals with mental illness get the treatment and assistance they need to return to work and permanent housing. For 59 years, MIRCI has worked to provide the community’s most vulnerable persons with a path to independence.
Collecting on behalf of MIRCI was Merrell Johnson, the nonprofit’s development and marketing officer. With him is Marketing Supervisor Clara Koon.
