Encompass Celebrates 125th Anniversary of Nelson Mullins with Day of Service

Encompass joined the Nelson Mullins Columbia office attorneys and staff for a day of service to Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Saturday, January 15, by volunteering their time to provide general rehab work at the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands, an organization that currently serves more than 2,200 children in after-school and other activities.  Around 20 Encompass team members, paired with 50 from Nelson Mullins, did work including interior and exterior painting, power washing, construction of picnic tables and raised garden beds, and replanting planters.

In the months to follow January, the Columbia office will extend its voluntarism by, collectively, volunteering a total of 125 hours each quarter year to the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands’ Power Hour program, a leading organization in youth development transforming the community by providing youth with impactful, fun, and educational opportunities in a safe environment.

Nelson Mullins kicked off the month of service in its Columbia office with a blood drive for the American Red Cross. Donating 27 pints, Nelson Mullins professionals gave enough to potentially save 78 lives.
