Columbia Litigation Technology Administrator Michael Pratt has achieved the designation of a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and joined the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Additionally, Washington, D.C. Discovery Counsel and Advanced Solutions Consultant David Deitch passed his Relativity Review Management Specialist exam. Both have furthered their proficiency to distinguish their practice among their peers.
The CIPM designation demonstrates an understanding of privacy program governance and the skills necessary to establish, maintain, and manage a privacy program across all stages of its operational life cycle. It is the first and only certification in privacy program management, developed in response to overwhelming demand to collect and collate common practices for managing privacy operations. Pratt joins the ranks of more than 10,000 professionals worldwide who currently hold one or more IAPP certifications.
The IAPP is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource. Founded in 2000, the IAPP is a not-for-profit organization that helps define, promote, and improve the privacy profession globally.
Relativity Review Management Specialist Certifications are earned by those who demonstrate experience administering the review process and consulting on the implementation of review workflows.
Pratt heads the Litigation Technology Team, an operational arm of Nelson Mullins Encompass that focuses on providing technology-based solutions and efficiencies for Nelson Mullins case teams, clients, and co-counsel. His background also includes project management in connection with leading teams of document reviewers and managing various phases of review for large-scale discovery projects.
Deitch focuses his practice on coordinating with clients and case counsel to establish e-discovery project workflows that meet various project needs and deadlines.
